I have spend a great and wonderful time as postdoc in Michael Sturek's laboratory at the Dalton Cardiovascular Research Center, Columbia, Missouri, USA. Mike has moved to Indianapolis to become the chair from the department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology where he keeps doing great science. He was and he is one of the most passionate, inspired and wise scientists I ever had the honor to meet and he taught me that passion and fun are complementary and not opposite in science. From Mike I also took over the way to run a lab and to take care that everything is prepared properly every day. That's how the "buffer file" was created........
